At Careforce, you have a Home Care Clinical Team. Each client assessment and care plan is done by a Registered Nurse or Masters Level Social Worker. Caregiver performance is evaluated directly by our Nurse or MSW supervisors. Consultation with an on-call Registered Nurse is available to our caregivers whenever needed, 24-hours each day. Fewer than 25% of non-medical Home Care agencies in Washington benefit from having a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) on their staff.
Nurse Delegation is a service authorized by Washington State Law that is used to delegate certain nursing tasks to properly trained and licensed nursing assistants and home health aides at CareForce. These tasks may include: Oral medication administration Eye or ear drop administration Rectal suppository administration Tube feeding administration Simple, clean wound care Application of prescription creams or lotions to the skin Straight catheterization Other tasks deemed appropriate by the RN
Careforce is a licensed Medicaid Home Care provider in both King and Snohomish Counties. This enables us to ensure that if you are a client who runs out of funds, and need to move to Medicaid, that we can safely continue to provide care for you no matter what.
